Reality TV
As much as I love watching reality TV, so many of the shows seem the same. For instance, The Housewives... there are so many "Real Housewives" I can't keep up. I often wonder if the shows are really based on their real lives. Reason being is because I ask myself, "How can so many women in one TV series have lives that are filled with so much dram?" Another show I watch is "Married to Medicine". Married to Medicine started out with one show, now it's even branched out with Married to Medicine Houston and Los Angeles. The reality TV show that takes the cake is the new show "90 Day Fiancé". It's one of the craziest shows I've ever seen but the drama and craziness keeps me glued to the TV. It's become so popular that the series now includes "90 Day: The Single Life", "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way", "90 Day: Happily Ever After", and even more! I guess the show did what it was intended to do which is attract viewers. I mean, even though some of the cast appear naïve to their mate, it's definitely what makes the show entertaining. The drama is outrageous! Nevertheless, from what I've read, a lot of the couples who appear and meet on these types of shows actually end up getting married, having a family together, and are still together after years of their first appearances have passed. I just think it's a lot for anybody to have to put their entire life on TV for the whole world to see-- the good, the bad, and the ugly. Then again, that's what reality TV is all about...
