"The Spell"
I don't know about you, but I like watching scary movies from time to time. Last night, me and my fiancé decided to watch a movie titled "The Spell". It's a movie that stars Loretta Devine and the actor, Omari Hardwick, who played in the Starz TV series "Power". When I tell you the movie was creepy, please believe it! Devine is a deranged mother who evidently lost her son. However, she still has another son who does anything she says to keep her happy.
The plot of the movie is they kidnap a man, Omari Hardwick, and hold him hostage. They do this because the mother, Loretta Devine, somehow
makes herself believe he is her deceased son. I don't want to give away the
movie, but I will say both actors played their roles very well. Omari Hardwick does an excellent job with the facial expressions he displays to show his fear, and Loretta Devine role as the "deranged" mother is so convincing. On a scale of
1-10 in regard to being scary, I'd give it a 7. But as for the gory scenes,
definitely a 10! So, if you're into thrillers, this is one you should
definitely check out. I watched it on Amazon Prime.
